Many consultancy practices claim to be independent, but they usually offer some form of on-service. Empathy Environmental Consultants have no vested interests. We offer training courses, policy and procedure development, retained support and risk management audits covering 30 health and safety issues. As such our audits and advice are completely unbiased.
 

Experience of key staff

Our director is Alan Hambidge. Alan was formerly Director and Principal Consultant of a well known and respected Consultancy Practice.

He has over 18 years experience in the field of risk management, and has provided training to many thousands of delegates. Alan has conducted several hundred risk management audits and coordinated thousands of risk management projects (including risk assessments) for Local Authorities, NHS Trusts, Universities and Housing Associations.

Alan has a BSc, MSc and several Diplomas. He is an active member of several professional bodies (including IOSH, HEFMA, IHEEM, IIRSM, IFHE, IBiol and ISMM). Alan is a Chartered Biologist. He sat on the IHEEM Council for several years and is a three times John Bolton Memorial Prize winner. Alan is a Chartered Institute of Environmental Health Tutor & NHS Core Learning Group Member.

We pride ourselves in providing responsive, innovative and effective risk management solutions. The process begins with a fact finding mission - we understand the legal requirements and have a great deal of experience of similar client situations, but we need to fully understand your specific situation and requirements to be able to provide a suitable service offering. Once we are satisfied that we have sufficient information, we will put forward a proposal of the service which we can provide to assist you. Once you are satisfied, and have commissioned our service, we will become part of your team in order to ensure understanding and satisfaction.
